With schools re-opening in September after a closure of over five months, it’s likely that children will have outgrown their school uniform.
Budget supermarkets Lidl and Aldi are doing their bit to help cash-stretched parents with back-to-school deals on their school uniform ranges. Both supermarkets are selling a full school uniform at the rock-bottom price of £4 in a bid to entice customers through their doors to shop for the September term.
Lidl’s uniform deal
From Thursday August 6th Lidl’s deals will be available (in-store only) aimed at pupils aged from 4 to 12 years old.
Head to your nearest Lidl branch to snap up the following items for a total of £4:
- Red or navy sweatshirt – 50p
- Two white or blue polo shirts – £1.75
- Trousers, shorts or a skirt – £1.75
Aldi’s uniform deal
Originally priced at £4.50, Aldi have recently announced that their uniform will also cost £4, in a bid to compete with its low-priced rival. The Aldi Specialbuy starts on Thursday 13th August and is available in-store and online.
- Sweatshirt – 50p
- Pack of two polo shirts – £1.75
- Trousers, shorts or a skirt – £1.75
Both Lidl and Aldi will have a full back to school range which also includes, cardigans, shoes, socks, tights and other school clothing such as shirts and pinafores.
For Harry Potter fans, Lidl are also offering a wizarding themed lunch bag for under a fiver, or a Nike backpack for £19.99.
