Online retailer, Party Delights, is getting into the spirit of Halloween with this maxi-length grim reaper dress, which has long tattered sleeves and a lace-up style bodice. Add some face paint and you have the ideal ghoulish get-up for under a tenner.

Halloween outfits under £20

Not all Halloween outfits need to be scary – if your child would rather dress up as a character from their favourite movie, there is plenty of choices available. Frozen fans will look as elegant as Elsa in this satin and organza dress created for The Disney Store for £18.29.
