Sunday was a day for heavy hitters at LFW, with Manolo Blanik, Temperly London, Topshop Unique, Paul Smith, Vivienne Westwood Red Lable, Mary Katrantzou, and last but not least Matthew Williamson
Manilo Blanik showed his collection in the form of a presentation, each shoe incredible and they completely speak for themselves take a look at the British fashion TV video below.
Next Temperly London which was finally what London Fashion Week needed, exquisite tailoring with feminine pink with a twist that others had not managed to capture. Alice Temperly still used the twist of black to complete her collection, as have most others this week. For me this was an unexpected favourite of the week so far.
Next was Vivienne Westwood who of course put on the show of all shows and certainly did not disappoint. Lilly Cole opened the show drenched in red light and flowing with white fabric.
The models with their painted white faces and red lips, powered down the catwalk, in smart tailoring and more classic designs that we have seen in the past from the Red Label.
Mary Katrantzou was like falling in love again, finally a designer asserting herself and her label as something different, with interesting cuts, shapes and texture this collection was complete and perfect.
As Sunday came to a close Matthew Williamson was the perfect place to finish, bright bold oranges, feminine yellows and incredible floral prints, London fashion week was complete, showing that London is a true power fashion house.
