UK chocolate maker Cadbury is making chocolate lovers incredibly happy by bringing back an old favourite from the nineties.

Cadbury Top Deck, which first hit the shelves in 1993, is making a comeback as part of the confectionery giant’s bicentenary festivities.

The relaunched treat will feature a throwback design, reminiscent of the original 1993 Top Deck packaging, tapping into the nostalgia of those who grew up in the nineties. This follows the earlier release of retro-themed Cadbury Dairy Milk bars this year.

The iconic bar will be a limited-edition and is still popular in countries like Australia and South Africa Cadbury Top Deck combines layers of classic milk chocolate with creamy white chocolate, promising a delectable and sweet experience for its fans.

Mara Popa, Brand Manager at Mondelez International, expressed excitement about the relaunch: “We’re delighted to be answering Cadbury fans’ requests and relaunching Cadbury Top Deck in the UK for a limited time, as part of our 200-year anniversary celebrations.

“With two delicious layers of milk and creamy white chocolate, every bite of Cadbury Top Deck will reward you with pure indulgence!”

The confectionery company is also responsible for a range of popular chocolates including Boost, Crunchie, Creme Eggs, and the classic Dairy Milk.

Cadbury fans have been spoilt recently with the release of several new chocolate bars in the UK. A new Cadbury Creme Egg chocolate bar was launched in the UK at the back end of last year.

As part of the Cadbury celebrations this summer, the company are also bringing back some of the classic Cadbury Dairy Milk packs. The chocolate bar is loved as much today as it was when it launched in 1905, and a new TV advert showcases generations of families sharing memories of the iconic treat.

Cadbury is also marking 200 years of being part of the nation’s shared memories, by donating £200,000 to Alzheimer’s Research UK.

Chocolate fans can find the Cadbury Top Deck in 110g bars, retailing at £1.85. It will be available in Tesco from this month and will roll out nationwide in July.
