Kylie Minogue Launches Alcohol-free Sparkling Rosé Wine in UK

Pop princess Kylie Minogue has launched her first alcohol-free sparkling rosé wine in the UK, through her brand Kylie Minogue Wines.

The singer’s first alcohol-free tipple has arrived in the shops in time for the festive season – making it a tasty alternative for anyone looking to moderate their drinking this winter.

The fifty-four-year-old star has already enjoyed success with her wine brand, Kylie Minogue Wines, as sales surged to over one million bottles – with data from Nielsen data revealing the brand is now worth £18.9m.

Retailing at £7 per bottle, the wine is produced using green tea selected from the Liu-Da Mountains, which has created all the much-loved attributes of rose wine but without generating any alcohol.

The tea was handpicked, one bud and two leaves at a time, before being brewed into a strong infusion and added to the grape ferment. The result is described as having an ‘additional mouthfeel and finish, rounded off with dried tannins to present a complex and finely balanced Sparkling Rosé, minus the alcohol.’

Kylie Minogue commented said: “This festive season I am absolutely thrilled to be launching Kylie Minogue Wine’s first zero per cent alcohol, Sparkling Rosé.

“Produced from selected ingredients of the highest quality including premium European grapes and high altitude, hand-picked, organic tea from the Yunnan province in China, our Kylie Minogue Wines Zero Sparkling Rosé is an innovative beverage which combines complexity, a fine balance and dry finish, to appeal to any Sparkling Rosé drinkers looking for a delightfully clean, textured product, minus the alcohol,”

The tasting notes that accompany the wine describe the drink as a ‘refreshing, sparkling and finely balanced non-alcoholic drink with notes of fresh strawberries and a complex, dry finish.’

And it’s good news for anyone counting calories too, as Kylie Minogue Wine’s Alcohol-Free Sparkling Rosé is just twenty-two calories per 100ml which is around eighty fewer calories per glass than a standard glass of Prosecco, making it a delicious, lighter alternative.

The sparkling 0% ABV wine is exclusively available in over seven hundred Tesco stores, and Tesco online, as well as in Booker retail outlets, with more stores due to stock the drink from January 2023.
