The Best Brands for 2020 have been Named by Which?

Brits have been turning to Which? for many years to benefit from its expert reviews and find out how good products really are.

From vacuum cleaners to holidays, and supermarkets to banks, Which? has revealed the brands which have excelled in customer service and products in 2020.

Which? is a subscription service that doesn’t allow advertising and puts everything from earphones to insurance through their paces to deliver an independent verdict

This year, it seems, customer service is deemed more important than ever.

Which? chief executive Anabel Hoult said: “The Which? Awards are here to help people make smarter choices by shining a light on those businesses that are putting consumers first.

“This has been especially pertinent this year given the significant impact Covid-19 has had on consumers.

“I’d like to congratulate all of the winners and thank them for their commitment to delivering great services and products for UK consumers,” Hoult concluded.

In the banking sector Nationwide triumphed over competition from First Direct and Starling to win Banking Brand of the Year. Nationwide combined their traditional branch-based services with an excellent online operation to gain the accolade.

A new category was revealed this year—Floorcare Brand of the Year—and was won by Dyson for its long history of excellence and consistently high standards.

Motoring giants Toyota held off competition from Mazda, Honda and Kia to take the crown of Car Brand of the Year.

The Kitchen and Household Products category was won by Kenwood while Miele held on to its title of Large Kitchen Appliance Brand.
